Role Purpose

The Marketing Manager is the creative and strategic force behind the EssentiaLyfe brand. This role is responsible for building and amplifying EssentiaLyfe’s presence across every channel — from social media and digital advertising to brand collaborations, influencer partnerships, merchandise, and beyond. The Marketing Manager owns the full marketing ecosystem and is charged with positioning EssentiaLyfe as the premier name in luxury villa rentals, event venues, and curated lifestyle experiences in Los Angeles and beyond.

This is not a role for someone who simply executes tasks — it is a role for a visionary marketer who thinks boldly, acts decisively, and understands the nuances of luxury branding. The ideal candidate combines creative excellence with analytical rigor, bringing both the big-picture strategy and the hands-on execution needed to grow a brand that is as premium as the properties it represents. With direct access to the CEO, this role carries significant influence over how EssentiaLyfe shows up in the world.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Content Strategy

  • Own and evolve the EssentiaLyfe brand identity — ensuring consistency in voice, tone, visual language, and messaging across all platforms and touchpoints
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that tells the EssentiaLyfe story, showcases the portfolio, and resonates with a luxury lifestyle audience
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content including photography direction, videography, copywriting, blog posts, property features, and lifestyle editorials
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external creatives to produce compelling marketing assets that reflect the premium nature of the EssentiaLyfe brand
  • Stay ahead of luxury lifestyle, travel, and real estate trends to ensure content remains fresh, relevant, and aspirational
  • Develop seasonal and campaign-specific creative briefs aligned with overarching brand and business objectives

Social Media Management

  • Manage and grow EssentiaLyfe’s presence across all social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Pinterest
  • Develop and maintain a robust content calendar ensuring a consistent cadence of high-quality, on-brand posts across all channels
  • Monitor performance metrics, analyze engagement data, and continuously optimize content strategy based on insights
  • Engage authentically with the EssentiaLyfe community — responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a manner that reflects the brand’s values and luxury standard
  • Identify emerging social media trends and platform features and incorporate them into the content strategy where relevant
  • Oversee and manage user-generated content (UGC) opportunities, curating guest and homeowner content that authentically represents the EssentiaLyfe experience

Digital Marketing & SEO

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to drive platform traffic, increase bookings, and grow brand awareness
  • Lead all SEO efforts including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link-building strategies to improve organic search rankings
  • Oversee the EssentiaLyfe website from a marketing perspective — ensuring content is optimized, current, and reflective of the brand’s premium positioning
  • Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and conversion data using tools such as Google Analytics to inform ongoing digital strategy
  • Collaborate with web development partners to implement UX improvements and landing page optimizations that enhance the guest and homeowner journey
  • Monitor competitor digital presence and identify opportunities to strengthen EssentiaLyfe’s market positioning

PPC & Paid Advertising

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), and other relevant platforms
  • Develop targeted ad strategies for key audience segments including travelers, event planners, corporations, travel agents, location scouts, and insurance clients
  • Manage advertising budgets with precision — continuously testing, analyzing, and refining campaigns to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS)
  • Create and A/B test compelling ad creatives, email marketing, and landing pages to improve click-through and conversion performance
  • Produce detailed paid media performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations for the CEO
  • Stay current on platform algorithm changes, ad policy updates, and best practices across Google, Meta, and emerging advertising channels

Partnerships, Influencer & Brand Collaborations

  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with luxury lifestyle brands, hospitality companies, travel agencies, real estate firms, and complementary service providers
  • Build and execute an influencer marketing program — sourcing, vetting, and managing relationships with creators whose audiences align with the EssentiaLyfe brand
  • Negotiate and manage influencer and brand collaboration agreements, deliverables, and timelines to ensure mutual value and brand integrity
  • Coordinate hosted stays, press trips, and brand activation experiences for influencers, media, and brand partners
  • Cultivate relationships with luxury media outlets, lifestyle publications, and PR contacts to secure editorial coverage and press features
  • Identify co-branding opportunities that elevate the EssentiaLyfe name and expand reach within the luxury lifestyle space

Campaign & Email Marketing

  • Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and paid channels to support peak season promotions, new property launches, and service announcements
  • Build and manage EssentiaLyfe’s email marketing program — developing segmented lists, automated workflows, and engaging newsletters that nurture guest and homeowner relationships
  • Write or oversee compelling email copy that reflects the EssentiaLyfe brand voice and drives measurable action
  • Track and report on campaign performance metrics including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue attribution
  • Develop and manage a promotional calendar aligned with seasonal trends, booking cycles, and business priorities

Merchandise & Brand Extensions

  • Lead the development and launch of EssentiaLyfe-branded merchandise — from concept and design through vendor sourcing, production, and distribution
  • Ensure all merchandise reflects the premium quality and aesthetic of the EssentiaLyfe brand
  • Identify opportunities for brand extensions and lifestyle product collaborations that deepen guest loyalty and broaden brand recognition
  • Manage merchandise inventory, fulfillment partnerships, and any associated e-commerce operations
  • Explore gifting and experiential merchandise opportunities as part of the guest welcome and concierge experience

Reporting & Strategy

  • Set clear marketing KPIs aligned with business goals and deliver regular performance reports to the CEO with data-driven insights and strategic recommendations
  • Manage the overall marketing budget with accountability — allocating spend strategically and ensuring strong ROI across all channels
  • Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed on luxury travel trends, competitor positioning, and emerging consumer behaviors
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development, Client Relations, and Concierge teams to align marketing with the full client and homeowner experience
  • Uphold EssentiaLyfe’s standards of excellence, creativity, and integrity in all marketing output and external brand representation

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven creative and strategic marketing skills with a strong portfolio demonstrating luxury brand experience
  • Deep understanding of the luxury lifestyle, travel, and real estate market — instinctively knows what resonates with a high-end audience
  • Expert-level knowledge of social media platforms, content strategy, and community management
  • Strong proficiency in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager with a track record of managing and optimizing high-performing paid campaigns
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices, digital analytics, and website optimization
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills — able to craft compelling content that captures the EssentiaLyfe brand voice across all formats
  • Strong project management skills — able to manage multiple campaigns, collaborations, and deliverables simultaneously without compromising quality
  • Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills — confident in building influencer and brand partnerships that deliver real value
  • Highly analytical — comfortable diving into data to extract meaningful insights and translate them into actionable marketing decisions
  • Creative, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated — thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes full ownership of the brand
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, email marketing platforms, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM tools

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 4–6 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role
  • Demonstrated experience marketing luxury, hospitality, real estate, or premium lifestyle brands is strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of growing brand presence and driving measurable results across digital and social channels
  • Hands-on experience managing PPC and Meta ad campaigns with demonstrable ROI
  • Experience developing and executing influencer marketing programs and brand partnership initiatives
  • Prior involvement in merchandise development or brand extension projects is a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, list segmentation, and campaign automation
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and reporting performance to senior leadership
  • Proven track record of success in a high-energy, fast-paced, creative environment
  • Active and polished presence on professional and social media platforms
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required
  • Active LinkedIn profile required
